Tried it a few days ago with Toshiba / Win8 OEM. Would have a better chance getting hit by a refrigerator falling from the sky. Do they have specific laws in Croatia for consumer protection or is it just ASUS policy over there.
Anyway, no matter how difficult it seems, it is a right you have: if you don't activate the Windows license, you are eligible for a refund, as the product itself says.
